In the more than 40 years we've been manufacturing gloves, we've
never settled for less than the highest standard of quality. Two
measures of our performance are ISO-certification and AQL.
ISO 9001 Certification: The Global Standard for Quality
We're proud to have obtained ISO 9001 certification. The International
Organization for Standardization (ISO) series 9001 standards are
international quality system standards that serve to establish a
high, consistent level of quality and service practices worldwide.
ISO 9001 standards are voluntary in nature and require all aspects
of quality systems to be documented, monitored and controlled so
that continuous improvements can be made. Our glove quality systems,
including design, development, production, installation and servicing,
are fully ISO certified. This valuable certification provides you
with confidence that your high quality requirements will be met.
Acceptable Quality Level (AQL)
With respect to gloves, AQL typically refers to confidence in barrier
protection. Gloves with a lower actual AQL will have fewer barrier
defects. All gloves must be statistically sampled to specified AQLs.
The chart below compares the AQL of our gloves to the federally
mandated standards of the FDA, which relies upon the standards of
the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). You can be
assured that our surgical and exam gloves exceed the ASTM requirements
for barrier protection confidence.
