The ORwell™ system was created in collaboration with front-line healthcare professionals, including operating room nurses and infection control specialists, to meet the needs of today’s fast-paced healthcare environment. From the ergonomic controls to the docking system, every aspect of the ORwell™ system is engineered for ease of use and maximum clinician and patient safety.
Weighing roughly a third less than competitive systems, the ORwell™ system includes a mobile unit that is easy to maneuver through hallways, doorways and crowded operating rooms. The low center of gravity and well-positioned handles make it easy to position and maneuver the system as needed during a surgical procedure.
Clean and simple operation
Using the ORwell™ system is exceptionally easy, allowing clinicians to focus on the patient, not fluid collection. A single button starts and stops the system, and one knob is used to control the level of suction. Visible and audible alarms notify clinicians when the unit is nearing capacity.
If additional collection capacity is required, a suction canister can be easily attached to the side of the machine during the surgical case, minimizing interruptions during the procedure.
