Pharmaceutical Segment

Cardinal Health serves retail, hospital, mail-order and long-term care pharmacies by distributing pharmaceuticals and related healthcare products to more than 33,000 locations. The Pharmaceutical segment also provides comprehensive financial, inventory, contract management and marketing services that help our customers reduce costs, improve efficiency and increase profitability. In addition, Cardinal Health operates the largest network of nuclear pharmacies that dispense products to aid in the early diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Medical Segment

Cardinal Health distributes medical products from more than 2,000 manufacturers to hospitals, surgery centers, laboratories and physician offices throughout the U.S. and Canada. The Medical segment’s integrated supply chain and logistics services help customers control costs, improve efficiencies and deliver effective, high-quality care. Cardinal Health offers comprehensive supply chain management solutions that provide access to the right products for the right procedure at exactly the right time – helping to reduce waste, improve clinician productivity and reduce stock-outs. Cardinal Health is also a leading manufacturer of medical and surgical products, including gloves, surgical apparel and fluid management products.
